provides inpatients and outpatients with
comprehensive investigative procedures. Our consultant
radiologists have access
to the most advanced facilities.
THE LATEST MRI TECHNOLOGY
Due to the increased demand of MRI scanning, we have recently
installed two new Siemens MRI scanners designed to meet the needs
of referring healthcare professionals and patients.
For your convenience, the MRI machine on the 6th floor of the
main hospital at 20 Devonshire
Place is open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and from 9am-5pm on
Saturdays.
The second machine located in our Outpatient centre at 5
Devonshire Place is open from
8am-8pm Monday to Friday .

Advanced equipment benefits
Our MRI
machines offer superior imaging quality and a smoother patient
experience with shorter scan times and quieter scanning. In
addition, we offer fully integrated anaesthetic capabilities for
interventional procedures and claustrophobic patients.
Our imaging techniques are state of the art and thus we
can provide exemplary diagnostic and treatment tools
for numerous specialties at The London Clinic including
oncology, neurology, gynaecology and ENT.
Some examples of our advanced techniques
include calcium scoring of the coronary vessels (for early
detection of calcification within the arteries of the heart);
Bone
densitometry, or dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), which
determines the risk of osteoporosis and the success of
treatment.
Appointments
To proceed with a booking, patients must have a signed request
form from either their GP
or a consultant.
All radiology reports are delivered within 24 hours.
