Clinical procedure rooms
There are 2 well equipped treatment rooms, 2 dedicated
laser rooms and 1 plaster room available for the use of the
Consultants whom work within The London Clinic. Each room provides
a medical environment in which a wide range of out-patient
procedures are undertaken. Below are examples of the types of
procedures carried out in each clinical room:
Treatment rooms:
- Sterile dressings
- Removal of stitches / clips
- Wound stabs
- Joint injections
- Rigid sigmoidoscopies
- Minor procedures under local anaesthetic such as:
-- Excision of lesions
-- Excision of moles / skin tags
-- Minor scar revision
-- Drainage of abscess / cysts
Laser rooms:
- Laser hair removal

Thread vein removal

Skin tightening
- Non ablative photo rejuvenation
- Skin rejuvenation for the treatment of diffuse redness and
facial telangectesia
- Lasers available are a Candela GentleLase Laser and Cutera Xeo
Laser Platform which has the following applications: ProWave 770,
LimeLight, Laser Genesis, Titan and Coolglide Nd:YAG.
Plaster room:
- Removal & reapplication of plaster cast
- Adjustment to plaster cast
- A private orthopaedic technician can be booked via the
Consultants secretary if the Consultant is unable to carry out the
procedure
Please note:
- Only local anesthetic may be used within the Clinical
Rooms
- There is no facility for a resting or recovery area post
procedure, so should your patient require this, then the procedure
should be booked with MITU day surgery at 20 Devonshire Place
- We do not administer any drugs via intravenous route
- We do not accept bookings for children under 16 years age

Please note the Clinical Rooms are currently operational from
Monday to Friday between 9-5pm, however special arrangements may be
made outside of these hours if it’s possible. We are closed on Bank
Holidays. All Clinical Rooms not in use will be locked at all
times.
